1. Asia-Europe TV Documentary Co-production Green Action Deadline: November 3, 2008

The pilot edition of the Asia-Europe TV Documentary Co-Production: Green Action will focus on the the Environment. Participating broadcasters form Asia and Europe will produce a series of documentaries with a focus on showcasing how local communities are responding positively to emerging global environmental changes. This project recognises media's vital role in bridging understanding on global environmental issues, and its ability to move people towards positive action. It also aims to encourage responsible and creative content by providing a platform for broadcasters to receive intellectual input form a diverse group of subject-mateer experts, as well as to have the opportunity to share their perspectives with fellow broadcasters. This project is made possible by ASEF's pertnership with the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD).
